October 22-24, 2009 - Postdoctorate Leaders Section Annual Meeting
October 23-25, 2009 - GREAT Group Annual Meeting
The AAMC Group on Graduate Research, Education, and Training (GREAT)
is holding its fall meetings from Thursday, October 22 through Sunday,
October 25 in St. Louis, MO, at the Chase Park Plaza. The GREAT
Group and its Sections serve the interests of over 500 medical school
graduate deans, MD-PhD program directors, postdoctoral program directors,
and program administrators, who have responsibility for biomedical
PhD, MD-PhD, and postdoctoral training.
"Innovation and Optimization of Graduate Student and Postdoctorate
Learning and Development" is the theme for both meetings. The
Postdoctorate Leaders Section meeting will be held beginning on
the afternoon of Thursday, October 22, and run through the morning
of Saturday, October 24. The GREAT Group Annual meeting will begin
on the afternoon of Friday, October 23 and run though the morning
of Sunday, October 25. To encourage discussion among the GREAT constituencies,
we have organized several joint sessions on Friday and Saturday.
Registration
Please note that there is a separate registration fee for each meeting.
Individuals may register for one meeting or, at a reduced fee, for
the GREAT Group and Postdoctorate Leaders Section meetings. For
