The GSA/GDI/OSR National Spring Meeting will bring together medical
school personnel in admissions, diversity affairs, financial aid,
student affairs, and student records, medical leaders in diversity
and inclusion, and medical students to learn about the major issues
facing medical schools across the country and to acquire skills
that will assist them in fulfilling their various roles and responsibilities
at their home institutions. Five plenary sessions, one spotlight
session and 40 concurrent sessions have been developed by the Planning
Committee for this conference, which consists of the regional chairs-elect
for the GSA, the GDI leadership, and the regional chairs of the
OSR. The Spotlight Session will feature an upcoming publication
from the AAMC on resources for medical students with disabilities
with eight of the authors speaking at this session.
The five plenary sessions and presenters, each of which will be
followed by a range of related concurrent sessions, are:
