About TeamWorks!

The AAMC TeamWorks! program is a six-month longitudinal experience in team process and team dynamics. The program brings together faculty and staff of various health professions teams to enhance the leadership skills of team members and boost productivity of organizational change teams. Participants actively participate in program workshops and work in "team learning groups" to practice application of newly learned principles of effective teamwork. The success of the program is measured by the degree of improvement in function and outcomes of the teams of participants.

Workshops address:

  • Team behaviors and practices
  • Conflict management
  • Integration of team member differences
  • Management of organizational change
  • Virtual teamwork
