Press Kit: Health Care Reform

The United States health care system faces a crisis of access, cost and quality that must be addressed. The AAMC's members, the nation's medical schools and teaching hospitals, play a pivotal role in making affordable care accessible to all Americans, and are actively working with Congress and the Obama Administration to achieve meaningful reforms. By preserving the safety net, developing the workforce, improving financing, and supporting innovative models of care, the AAMC and its members believe we can fix our broken health care system and improve the health of our nation.
