Air Force Health Professions Scholarship Program   Scholarship Pre Graduation Payment for educational expenses in a degree program leading to an MD. Monthly stipend of approximately $1,907. Year for year obligation.

Air Force Loan Repayment Program Active Duty Health Professions Loan Repayment Program (ADHPLRP)   Loan Repayment Program Post Graduation Maximum repayment for 2009 is $40,000 less tax liability. Minimum two years, one year active duty for each annual repayment.   www.airforce.com

Indian Health Service Non-Commissioned Scholarship Pre Graduation Tuition and required fees for required courses in approved degree program. One year service for one year of scholarship support. Two year min. Must be approved for deferment for additional training, i.e.: residency, w/in 90 days of Graduation. Deferment approved for residency in Family practice, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Emergency Medicine, Psychiatry, Internal Medicine Pediatrics, Internal Medicine /Family Practice, Gen Surgery/ Anesthesiology www.ihs.gov/

Can receive scholarship for up to four years. Recipients receive taxable monthly living stipend. National Institute of Health Extramural Loan Repayment Program Non-Commissioned Loan Repayment Program Post Graduation Up to $35,000 per year for qualified research Two year min. For researchers outside NIH in: Clinical, Pediatric, Health Disparities, Contraception & Infertility, and Clinical research for individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds. Must have total qualified education debt equal to or in excess of 20% of your institutional base salary. National Institute of Health Intramural Loan Repayment Program Non-Commissioned (NIH employee) Loan Repayment Program Post Graduation Up to $35,000 per year for qualified research

Two year min.
Three year min. for General research

For NIH employee researchers conducting - Aids research, Clinical research for individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds. Must have total qualified education debt equal to or in excess of 20% of your institutional base salary. Public Service Loan Forgiveness Non-Commissioned Loan Repayment Program Post Graduation Determined by Loan Servicer 120 on time monthly payments Only for Direct Loan Program. Monthly payments must be made to Direct Loans while employed full-time (min. 30 hrs/wk) by federal, state or local government, non-profit 501( c)(3), Americorps, or Peace Corps. http://www.finaid.org
