ERAS welcomes osteopathic residency programs to ERAS 2009.
Highlights for Applicants
Season Start for Applicants
ERAS opens on July 1, 2008 for all applicants to begin work on their
applications; however, the timeline for applying to programs is modified
based on the type of programs to which you are applying. Beginning July
1, 2008 osteopathic applicants may apply to osteopathic training programs
only. Both osteopathic and allopathic applicants may begin applying
to allopathic residencies on September 1, 2008, as usual.
New Features and Changes for ERAS 2009
ERAS continues to improve the applicant experience by including the following
enhancements for ERAS 2009:
- Applicants may identify and finalize letter writers prior to certifying
their application and applying to programs
- Fee increased to $60 for NBME and NBOME exam score transcripts
- Retooled Publications section to accommodate more publication types
and future dates for oral and poster presentations
