Preparing for the Exam
This guidebook, developed under the direction of the MCAT staff, provides
you with extensive information on "everything MCAT." It includes questions
from real MCAT exams, thoroughly explained answers, and valuable data.
Eight practice tests, updated versions of retired exams, offer low cost
opportunities to become familar with the content and format of the MCAT
exam. Practice tests include solutions for each item, automated scoring
and diagnostics, customizable feedback, and test assistance features such
as the ability to highlight and search the passage text.
A study plan will allow you to organize your time and focus your attention
on the tasks required for registration and test day.
The four sections of the MCAT exam each result in a separate score. The
multiple-choice sections are scored on a 15-point scale; the Writing
Sample score is a letter from J through T.
