    New Timeline and RFI for the Precision Medicine Initiative

    Kathy Hudson, Ph.D., deputy director for science, outreach, and policy, and Josephine Briggs, M.D., interim director of the PMI Cohort Program provided a Precision Medicine Initiative (PMI) update at the Dec. 10-11 National Institutes of Health (NIH) Advisory Committee to the Director meeting.

    The presentation covered recently released requests for applications, projected enrollments for the cohort, and a detailed timeline for calendar year (CY) 2016. The NIH also released a request for information on identifying or establishing a system(s) for conducting a physical evaluation and collecting biospecimens from Direct Volunteers for the PMI Cohort Program. Responses are due Jan. 16, 2016.
