    Organization of Student Representatives

The Organization of Student Representatives (OSR) developed in 1971 as a result of medical student protests to be included in all AAMC activities. The OSR has the following goals:

    • Provide a forum for medical students to discuss issues among themselves,

    • Give an official voice to students within the AAMC,

    • Allow students to actively participate in the governing decisions of the AAMC, and

    • Establish a way for students to take action on key healthcare issues.

These records cover the years 1971-1996.
