Action Collaborative for Black Men in Medicine

Educators are critical partners in guiding our young men toward becoming our future doctors.  

Whether you are an advisor, student affairs professional, faculty, or another dedicated partner, this page will give you guidance on resources and services to aid in applying to medical school at every stage of the process.

This report details over 40 strategies addressing the premedical, academic medicine, and sociocultural factors influencing the experiences of Black men on the pathway to becoming a physician.

Created in collaboration with the NAF, Navigating a Career in Medicine is intended to help to support young students in pursuit of a career in medicine.

Tour for Diversity in Medicine brings premedical enrichment activities to underrepresented minority undergraduate students at campuses across the United States.

Black and Latino Men in Medicine supports and provides mentorship for Black and Latino men interested in medicine and science.

Mentoring in Medicine equips students to become health care professionals through leadership development, civic engagement, and mentorship.

This video identifies misconceptions in the prehealth community about the admissions process and the "perfect applicant” and provides guidance to prehealth advisors when advising students from underrepresented and marginalized communities.
