MedEdSCHOLAR: Fostering Diverse Leaders in Medical Education

The MedEdSCHOLAR program cultivates scholarly expertise and leadership skills among early-career faculty and new scholars in medical education. The program offers targeted mentorship and professional development opportunities, with a particular emphasis on individuals from backgrounds historically underrepresented in medicine and academic publishing.

The two-year program aims to help mentees:

    • Gain exposure to the scholarly editorial process.
    • Build valuable networks with medical education scholars.
    • Increase visibility within the academic medicine community.
    • Receive formal mentorship from experienced scholars.
