The solution emerged in the form of a robust enterprise web platform, meticulously crafted using Drupal. This submission highlights DGSOM’s journey toward achieving a unified digital presence, while embracing modern web development, design principles, and a user-centric approach.

What is one thing you learned from your entry/experience?
The privilege of working with fantastically talented, cross-functional teams on this effort has taught us so much. One of the best parts of working here, in general, is that we still learn something new every day, after almost nine years, and we attribute that to our people. They are our best asset.

    What challenge did you overcome?
A major change in a complex organization like an academic medical center is always a challenge to overcome. Keeping a project moving, especially a large, multi-year endeavor of any kind, requires not only project and product management, but also change management, stakeholder buy-in at many levels, creative vision, meticulous strategic planning, and collaboration across teams.
