    Council of Teaching Hospitals (COTH)

    On November 2, 1965, at the AAMC Annual Meeting, the Teaching Hospital Section of the AAMC was officially rebranded as the Council of Teaching Hospitals (COTH) The first director of COTH, Matthew F. McNulty, Jr., established the Council to “develop, through the appointment of specific study groups, information concerning specific items or problems relating to hospital operation as it relates to the furtherance of education in medicine.” 

    These documents cover the years 1967-1999.
